Flux Recruit is a specialist recruitment agency focused entirely on Mechanical & Electrical trades — electricians, plumbers, gas engineers, heating engineers, and HVAC professionals.
We're based in Lancashire and cover Greater Manchester, Yorkshire, and the wider North of England. We started because we saw the same problem from both sides: employers wasting time on candidates who didn't have the right qualifications, and tradespeople being contacted for roles that didn't match their skills or rate expectations.
Most recruitment agencies treat every trade as interchangeable labour. They don't know the difference between an Installation Electrician and an Approved Electrician. They don't check whether a Gas Safe number is actually valid. They send CVs and hope for the best.
We do things differently. We verify certifications before we send a CV. We understand JIB grading, ECS card levels, and what “18th Edition” actually means. We use technology to screen candidates faster and more accurately, so you get better matches in less time.

M&E trades have legally mandated certifications that general recruiters often don't understand. Gas Safe registration is a legal requirement. 18th Edition is the current wiring standard. Getting this wrong wastes everyone's time — or worse.
